Fudge in a Bag
1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
1 tablespoon softened butter
2 teaspoons softened cream cheese
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
Put all the ingredients in a ziplock bag. Close the bag. Squish everything together until mixed well. Cut a corner off the bag and use it to decorate other sweet things or squeeze directly into your mouth. Your choice. No judgement.
Hot Fudge
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 12 oz bag of semi sweet chocolate chips
1 stick of butter
Mix all in a saucepan. Simmer until melted and well mixed. Serve over icecream or whatever.
Rice Crispy Treats
4 cups marshmallows
4 cups dry Rice Crispy cereal
1/2 stick of butter
Butter an 8x13 pan. Melt marshmallows and butter in a saucepan. Mix in a bowl with Rice Cereal until well mixed and then pour into pan. let cool, cut and serve.
Fudge Crispy Treats
Butter two(2) 8x13 pans. Make the Rice Crispy Treats recipe above with 8 cups of cereal. Make the Hot Fudge recipe above and mix it into the cereal the same time as the marshmallow mix. Stir well. Pour half into each pan. Chill and serve.
Divinity (as published in Arizona magazine 15 October 1967) by Grandmother Margaret
2 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup white Karo syrup
3 egg whites
Cook sugar, water and Karo to firm ball stage, boiling rapidly. Beat egg whites stiff. Pour 1/4 of syrup into whites as you beat with mixer. Put syrup back over heat. It will boil up at once. Pour another 1/4 of syrup into whites. Continue heating syrup and beating it until syrup is all in egg whites. Continue beating until candy remains in peaks. Quickly drop on waxed paper by teaspoon.
